Abi Bruno is a visual artist from Chicago Ridge, Illinois, working primarily in painting and mixed media. She graduated with a BA in Studio Arts and Technology with a concentration in 2D Extended Media at Purdue University. Though her artistic interest began in childhood, an early struggle with perfectionism temporarily dampened her passion for art. However, during the pandemic, Bruno rediscovered her love for visual expression, particularly painting. Through patience and unlearning, she has since transformed this desire for perfection into a driving force for experimentation and growth.
